We have important issues to decide, good news to share, and many new and enthusiastic Officers/Trustees, Council and Committees’ members to vote in and to meet!
We hope that many of you saved the date when it was emailed out back in December, and will be able join, we’d love to see many of you there! The AGM is an opportunity to get to know each other and to make a contribution to how the Society is run.
Please note that the venue is accessible, is on the ground floor and has accessible toilets.
Refreshments will be provided during the event, (not lunch).
Participation at the AGM is free and is open to both Personal and Institutional Members. If you have any queries about your membership status or are not yet a member but would like to join, please contact our Membership Secretary.
As you know, we have been running the Society in a state of emergency since the Business Manager left in September 2016, while adjusting to change and finding a new operational model, in addition to the difficulty in recruiting volunteers due to the increased workload for all in our profession. As a result, we have been unable to follow the usual schedule for planning events and recruitment.
Things are looking up now, and we are looking forward to much smoother sailing ahead. Thank you all for your patience and support.
