If you are interested in the documentation of art and design or the provision of library and information services to creative practitioners then ARLIS is the society for you.

Personal Membership

£28 / £12 concession per annum 

ARLIS membership runs from January to December and brings many benefits:

  • Network with fellow professionals
  • Participate in a range of professional development events and activities with member-only discounts.
  • Volunteer for one of our committees or groups.
  • Apply for ARLIS research and travel grants
  • The option to subscribe to the Art Libraries Journal through Cambridge University Press at a subsidized rate of £20 per annum. The subscription includes delivery of print copies and online access to the archive.
  • Concessionary rates available for students, retired or unwaged.

Institutional membership

£50 per annum

ARLIS membership runs from January to December and brings many benefits:

  • Network with fellow professionals
  • Send a representative to the ARLIS Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Receive a discounted rate for up to 5 employees at ARLIS professional development events.
  • Employees can apply for ARLIS research and travel grants
  • Be part of our committees or groups.
