New Honorary Treasurer and Operational Treasurer needed
ARLIS/UK & Ireland is looking for a new Hon. Treasurer and Operational Treasurer, to start as soon as possible.
The Treasurers, together with the other Officers, will also be Trustees of the Society.
Both are voluntary positions.
The Hon. Treasurer will be responsible for the essential paperwork of the Society, compiling the annual accounts and liaising with our accountants; the Operational Treasurer will be involved with ongoing support with financial matters to Committees, Officers and relevant volunteers.
These are vital roles for the survival of the society, and we hope that library managers will encourage their staff to come forward.
The work of ARLIS/UK & Ireland has, over the years, made a very valuable contribution to art librarianship, also supporting art archivists and curators, but the Society is only as strong as the people who give their time, expertise and enthusiasm, without whom it will not survive.
Please come and join dedicated and passionate colleagues in the ARLIS/UK & Ireland Council and Committees and help us make our Society strong and successful, to enable it to continue performing its vital supporting role in our professional lives.
