Conference Working Party 2020 call for members

Dear members and friends,

The core Conference Working Party for the forthcoming ARLIS/UK & Ireland conference, to be held in Cambridge 22-24 (25th optional) July 2020, are looking for additional enthusiastic CWP members to take up the following responsibilities, some of which can be combined and/or shared:

Grant Applications*

Conference Bookings (x2)*

Badges/lanyards/personalised programmes/signage/

Delegates’ liaison*

Tote bags supplier’s liaison*

Setting up before each session: uploading presentations/ IT liaison

All CWP members will take part in shaping the conference, sorting the received calls for papers and take turns staffing the registration desk and help delegates.

If you have an interest and/or experience in these areas and would like to contribute to art librarianship by actively engaging in organising our next conference, we are very much looking forward to hearing from you. This is a valuable CPD experience that will enhance your CV/portfolio and a chance to share your experience with the wider art libraries and collections community.

For these* roles, you do not need to be based in Cambridge or to physically attend CWP meetings, as discussions can take place remotely. CWP members are entitled to a conference fee waiver, but must be either personal or institutional ARLIS/UK & Ireland’s members.

To apply, please follow this link here

If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch conference@arlis.net

We are very much looking forward to hearing from you,

Susanne Jennings & Carla Marchesan,
